Last night the Foundation, our subsidiaries, and our co-located friends came together with a slew of community partners to celebrate the grand opening of the Philanthropy Center! Huge thanks to our speakers, including Mayor David Condon, Greater Spokane Inc. CEO Steve Stevens, Spokesman Review Publisher Stacey Cowles, former EHF Board Chair Sue Lani Madsen, and EHF President Antony Chiang. Special thanks go out to Larae Wiley of the Salish School of Spokane for helping us celebrate in the Salish tradition, and to our own Christina Kamkosi for delivering the benediction.
Following the ribbon cutting festivities and blessings of the building, guests enjoyed an open house with Foundation and subsidiary staff. What a turnout!
And finally, at the end of the night, the Foundation also took the opportunity to recognize a handful of key partners who have worked with us to move the needle on several of our strategic initiatives with a short ceremony in our Event Center. Real change is impossible without strong partners, and we are honored to work with such impactful, committed community leaders. Together, we are transforming Eastern Washington into the state's healthiest region!
