Spokane Philanthropic Awards Registration Open!

We at EHF are delighted to sponsor the 2015 Spokane Philanthropic Awards in partnership with the Journal of Business, Spokane Emerging Leaders Society, and Compassionate Spokane.  The Spokane Philanthropic Awards recognizes and celebrates the many acts of compassion and philanthropy occurring in our community, with awards in the following four categories:

  • Philanthropic Corporation of the Year (51+ employees)
  • Philanthropic Small Business of the Year
  • Philanthropic Organization of the Year
  • Outstanding Philanthropist(s) 
  • Outstanding Young Philanthropist(s) (up to age 21)

Seeking Nominations for the 2015 Spokane Philanthropic Awards!

The Spokane County United Way Emerging Leaders Society (ELS) is partnering with community leaders and organizations, including Empire Health Foundation and the Journal of Business to host the 2015 Spokane Philanthropic Awards. The Philanthropic Awards are part of Spokane Gives, a community initiative to increase community service and giving.

The Spokane Philanthropic Awards are meant to recognize and celebrate the many acts of compassion and philanthropy occurring in our community.  The hope is to raise the level of philanthropic support that organizations across our community are receiving not just in donations but also in volunteer hours.

The awards will be given in five different categories: Outstanding Philanthropists, Philanthropic Small Business of the Year, Philanthropic Corporation of the Year, Outstanding Philanthropist(s) (individual, couple or family),and Young Philanthropist.  

Award recipients and nominees will be honored at an event hosted by Spokane County United Ways Emerging Leaders Society and celebrated at a luncheon on October 21, 2015 at the Lincoln Center.
