The Foundation recognizes that the last few years have represented a time of decreased donations and government funding for non-profits, coupled with increased need. As a result, a portion of the 2012 EHF grants budget is targeted for these one-time responsive grants in order to serve a broad and diverse number of organizations working in our seven counties.

 

 

 

EHF is targeting an investment of $452,000 in 2012.  In 2011, $712,990 of responsive grant funding was provided to organizations in our region for 60 different health-related efforts. 

 

Please note that beginning in 2012, grants awarded through this program will be limited to a maximum of $15,000 each. In prior cycles, the maximum request was $25,000, however, due to limited funding and a desire to provide support to more organizations, the Foundation's board of directors decided to reduce the individual grant limit.
