This month, staff concluded the selection process for technical assistance grants. These grants will support technical assistance needs of partner organizations including staff training opportunities, grant writing assistance, and business development planning. Here are some program highlights:

• Empire Health Foundation increased the total funding from the $265,000 initially announced to $338,000 in an effort to better respond to community needs.
• There were 59 total applicants and 28 applicants were awarded grants.
• The average grant was $12,071
• All organizations were grassroots, by and for organizations in eastern Washington.
